Deven Parekh is a businessman and investors who has an impressive track record. He is currently a managing director at Insight Venture Partners, a high quality investment firm in the United States that has invested in e-commerce companies all over the world. It was Deven Parekh who led Insight Venture Partners’ investments in Media Mind and Football Fanatics, two companies that have gone on to become quite successful. Deven Parekh has also invested in a number of other companies, including HayNeedle.com, a website which hosts a collection of specialty stores that produce high quality products for low prices, and Chegg.com, a textbook rental website that has become increasingly popular amongst students. Deven Parekh was also an investor into NewEgg.com, which is now the 2nd largest online-only retail company in the country.

Deven Parekh does not just use his expertise and experience to make investments for himself, he has also worked to increase global investment in U.S. online companies. This specific mission drove him to join a delegation to Russia that included diplomats and technology company representatives in an effort to improve collaboration, investment, and cooperation between the two countries. The delegation was led by the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and even met with the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev.
